ITIL 4 Strategist: Direct, Plan and Improve is an advanced ITIL 4 certification focused on strategic planning, governance, continual improvement, measurement, reporting and organizational change. It helps professionals align IT and business objectives while improving products, services and workflows.
The certification is intended for IT managers, leaders and professionals involved in IT service management, strategic planning, organizational change, governance and continual improvement. It is also a universal module within the ITIL 4 Managing Professional and Strategic Leader pathways.
The examination consists of 40 multiple-choice questions, with a duration of 90 minutes. It is a closed-book examination, and candidates must achieve a minimum score of 70% to pass.
Candidates need an ITIL 4 Foundation, ITIL 4 Managing Professional Certificate or ITIL v3 certification. Candidates must also complete training through an Accredited Training Organization or ITIL Official eLearning.
Yes. PeopleCert currently lists ITIL 4 Strategist: Direct, Plan and Improve as an available ITIL 4 certification. However, PeopleCert's current plan is to sunset all ITIL 4 modules on 31 December 2027.
